Personal Training Corporate Edge Edge Performance Centre
Kristina Paul

Kristina’s passion for fitness started at a young age when it was determined that a little bit of running would burn off some energy to help her to concentrate in school – leading to a life long love of fitness.

In 1999, Kristina graduated from York University with an Honours degree in Kinesiology - the study of human movement and the relationship between physical activity and health. She spent the first few years of her career working in a physiotherapy clinic developing programs to rehabilitate accident and workplace injury patients, gaining valuable experience with a variety of assessment tools.

In 2001, Kristina began working as a personal trainer with the goal of teaching people to be pro-active instead of re-active towards dealing with their health. Today she places her focus not only on strength and conditioning, but on enhancing her clients’ posture and muscular balance, leading to improvements in their daily life – from greater focus at work to better performance on the playing field. She believes that all good programs start with a thorough examination of an individual strengths and weaknesses; these key assessments are used to build safe and effective exercise programs to help clients of all fitness levels be as pro-active with their health as possible.

In addition to personal training, Kristina is an exceptional instructor of a class which combines Pilates and yoga, called Fusion. Outside of training Kristina enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and, of course, running.
