Claire has been working in the human movement and biomechanics area for many years. Claire obtained a BSc in Kinesiology from University of Waterloo and an MSc in Ergonomics from Loughbourough University in England. Claire has worked in the areas of postural biomechanics in Ergonomics and teaching before joining Personal Edge Training.
Most recently, Claire has obtained her Level 1 Core Confidence Specialists Certification. This allows Claire to specialize in helping young mothers, pre-monopausal and menopausal women who are looking for support with core function and posture correction and are dealing with issues like incontinence and/or prolapse. This area, even though not spoken about often, is very common, yet difficult for women to find help. Personal Edge Training is excited to have Claire join our team and help those women feel empowered again.
Claire is passionate about living a healthy active life style and passes this along to her clients. She enjoys creating an environment for her clients where they will feel successful as they go forward in their health and fitness journey. Outside of the gym Claire enjoys spending time with husband Doug and 3 children, Derek, Colin and Janna. She also enjoys hiking in the mountains, running, skiing and walking her dog.
